Flying from Africa or the Middle East? Here’s what you need to know about the new restrictions on carry-on electronic devices.

Just when you thought you had your checked and carry-on luggage sorted, there’s a new rule. From Tuesday 21 st March, passengers on flights from the Middle East and North Africa to the US and UK may not bring devices larger than a cellphone into the aircraft cabin.

The US rules apply to flights from a restricted list of airports to the US, while the UK rules apply to flight from six countries. For a breakdown of the new rules and suggestions on how to deal with them, read my article on irislillian.com.
